Anyone vbac with a big baby?

I have had 1 vbac so far, baby was almost 9lb and struggled to move down. Ended with an episiotomy, lots of tearing and a vacuum delivery. They said it was very close to another section due to him not dropping into the pelvis until the very end.

I’m now 37 weeks and hoping for another vbac. This baby is estimated to be over 10lb. I’ve had loads of scans by loads of different doctors due to him having a very large head (at 32 weeks his head was already measuring 39 weeks) and they have all given similar sizes and weights. I’m assuming he will likely also have trouble dropping into the pelvis due to his head size.

Has anyone vbac with a 10lb plus baby to a baby with a very large head? How did it go? Any advice?

I’m not sure if I should ask for an early indication at 39 weeks, they have no issues inducing for vbac and did so with my last at 40 weeks.
