Anybody taking Lamictal?

Just found out I'm pregnant and I recently have been prescribed Lamictal. Obviously this is a question for my doctor but I'm just wondering?

Yes, 100% fine! Two OBs in my office, 3 MFM specialists, psychiatrist, and primary care doc all support it and agree there is no increased risk. I'm 23 weeks now and have had no complications and have not had a depressive episode the whole time 👍🏻

I was given that 2 years ago for my seizures.
I refuse to take it during pregnancy as AEDs are known to cause a higher chance in birth defects.

Lamictal is pregnancy safe. I was on the extended version of it my whole pregnancy for my seizures. It’s one of the few medications that are safe during pregnancy.

They will probably take you off of it unless the risk of not taking it outweighs the benefit of stopping. I was put on latuda during my pregnancy.
