induction stories with bi dialtion/effacement??

I’m wondering if anyone can share their experience with induction when you started without cervical dilation/effacement.  Was it unsuccessful! How was baby born? How long did it take? Thank!!!!!!!

Was 3cm 50% effaced 1week and 3cm 90% effaced the 2nd week. Ob was surprised I even made it to induction day. Broke my water and started pitocin around 8:30ish am. Baby was born at 3:38pm.

Hello with my first child my body did not go into labor was 1cm for 3 weeks and at 40 weeks I went in for induction, I went in on the 15th she came on the 17th, first my membranes where striped (very uncomfortable for me but pain went away as soon as it was over) than i was given a hormone prostaglandin (tampon with a pill/gel to wear inside of me over night) took 2 times doing this to sofen up my walling, once I was 8cm dilated I was given oxytocin to start contractions ( ask for the epidural before they give you this goes into iv)
