Can you have a short period and still be pregnant?

I had a 2 day period and brown spotting on day 3. I’m getting a positive pregnancy test .. is this normal?? I’m so confused and shocked right now. I hope my hormones aren’t playing tricks on me

You can’t have a true period and be pregnant. So either what you experienced was not a period, so there’s a possibility of loss. Try using regular tests to see the line darkness, and repeat to see if it is getting darker or lighter. Also contact your doctor, get bloodwork and let them know you had a positive test with bleeding

That must of been Implantation bleeding same happened to me when I thought it was okay just to have pink spotting for 2 days congratulations x
