Time frame from your water breaking/first obvious contraction/other obvious sign of labor until you went to the hospital?

I know this will vary a lot but I need some kind of idea of what to expect! My first was induced so I have literally no idea what to expect time-wise. My doctor obviously said when the contractions are regular and i cant talk thru them but that doesnt help a whole lot lol.

Also, we are having a friend watch our toddler so I'm trying to coordinate loose time lines for that too. Is it possible for my water to break but not have contractions right away?
