Does Zoloft really affect the heart rythem?

I've been on Zoloft 50mg up until yesterday my doctor put me on Zoloft 100mg. I read on the internet that Zoloft can affect the heart rhythm and make it flutter. Is that true? 
Also this isn't containing to Zoloft ,but I know someone who just recently passed away from an heart attack sudden. She was in her 30s. They are doing autopsy to see what happen. 
How can someone so young have an sudden heart attack with or without heart problems?

There are health risks with any medication, but Zoloft is considered safe. I have taken the 100 MG for 2 years and been totally fine. Zoloft does good things. You should really give it a chance.

I never used Zoloft, but I have friends that swear by it and say it really changed their lives. 
About the heart attack it can definitely happen to anyone at anytime. I had a heart attack when I was 26, I have SVT, but my heart itself had no issue at the time. It was sudden and I didn't even have much symptoms besides mild chest pain/pressure, and jaw numbness.

Unfortunately I knew a kid who was 15 and had a heart attack and someone a couple years older who had one. It can happen to anyone honestly! As for the sertraline ( Zoloft thing ) I’ve been on the medicine for two years and actually about to restart it cause I stopped for. A little, I’m a huge hypochondriac & worry about everything but I don’t recall it ever making my heart feel weird. My heart felt weird with Xanax.. couldn’t handle that for my anxiety

Anyone can have build up in their arteries even if they're young. Most of us will have at least some build up in our arteries. It's not like we eat the healthiest diet in the world. 
You can be skinny and have arteries that are completely blocked. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just the way bodies are. You should be fine, I've never heard of that side effect before and I'm a nurse but they have to list every single thing no matter how rare. That's why death is listed as a side effect of every single medication.
