Fading means ovulation?

Question

Does the drop in lh/fading on strips mean you’re about to ovulate or already have? 
This confused me!

We typically ovulate within 24 hours after the onset of the LH surge/initial positive test. A negative OPK following a positive doesn’t confirm that you ovulated, unfortunately. It means you’re no longer experiencing a surge in LH.

That’s weird haha. You usually ovulate within a day or so of your peak. Once it starts fading you most like king are or did ovulate.
