I’ve never had a good relationship with my dad he’s never been around in my life. H walked out when I was born. Then I met him for the first time when I was 11. He then has been in and out(by his choice not mine) for 10 years. I have just given birth to my daughter ( his first grandchild) 4 weeks ago. He said he would give me time and see her at exactly 1 week old. Never rang or showed up. He then said he would at exactly two weeks old. Never rang or showed up. And not heard from him since. Am I overreacting in how upset and frustrated and let down I am. I feel so emotional I don’t know how to describe how I feel! And he also said when he does meet her he won’t be holding her. Sorry rant over 🙁
