Membrane sweep?

Any "failed" membrane sweep that seemed to have worked anyways? I just had my first one today and now I'm experiencing brown thin mucusy discharge

I had a membrane sweep and around 4 hours later I started having contractions and then gave birth to my little girl 20 hours later!

I had one done last Friday. Lost part of my mucus plug on the Saturday after and more yesterday. I was only 1cm when she did the sweep. Due in 5 days. No other progress really.

I had a membrane sweep at 39+1. I was only 2cm dilated and still thick and high. OB told me there's no guarantee since I wasn't very dilated or effaced. I did have a bulging sac and she said that may make the difference. She told me if it's going to work it would be 24-48 hours. My water broke and I went into labor about 4 hours after the sweep.
