Heyyy girls! 
I just wanted to know if I’m the only one that gets BV, thrush or a UTI afer having sex. Like it’s literally every single time, I’m not in a relationship, just have casual sex but not very regular. I also have a copper coil if that makes a difference. Starting to get a bit worried now😩

I think it’s an anatomy thing, like how long your urethra is and where it is in relationship to your vaginal opening. I have had friends that get stuff like this regularly after having sex. Even two who have been hospitalized for UTIs going septic. I’m 43 and have never once in my life had a UTI or a yeast infection. I never pee after sex, I just go to sleep. Lucky I guess. Talk to your doctor if this is chronic with you. Many doctors will give a standing antibiotic prescription so you don’t have to go in every time
