Moving in with boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I have been together for just under 5 months. How soon does everyone move in with their SO? Is now too soon?! Help!
Edit: he’d be moving in with me and wouldn’t sign the lease. I’m 25 and he’s 27 about to be 28!

I wouldn’t sign a lease or anything but I think it’s fine. Everyone moves at a different pace. I think it’s important to see if you’re compatible early on and a huge part of that is whether or not you can live together. I’d make sure to keep your independence, especially financially, this early on.

Not until i’m married. I date with the intention of getting married. What’s that saying, why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free. Mark my words, you will be playing house without the basis of commitment. My personal opinion of course.

We started "living together" as soon as we became exclusive which was about 2-3 months after we met. We were 18 & 21 & both of us still lived with our parents but we took turns staying at each other's houses every night. We were (& still are🥰) literally inseparable. We got our 1st apartment a year later when I was pregnant with our 1st baby. Been together 13 years now ♡

We moved in together really quick. Like within a few months. He had a slumlord and roommate issues (one got put on probation in another county and the other ran the ac so much they had a $500 electric bill). I had an extra room so he moved in and basically just stored his furniture in there lol We've been together for 15 years now. Everything just seemed to really work out for us, down to the way we met, it was all meant to be. Super corny but true lol

We moved in together about 3 years in to our relationship. We started dating when we were in high school though. We moved my stuff over the night before I went into labor with our first😂 we bought our house 2 months later. 
Don’t listen to anybody saying you shouldn’t “play house” if you want marriage or any of that similar bs. Bottom line is if he wants to, he will marry you regardless of if you’re already living together and have kids together or not. It’s actually very smart to live together before making a commitment like marriage. You don’t really know everything about your partner until you’ve lived with them.

Signed lease or not, if he gets mail and lives with you he’s have a lot of rights to staying there even if you’d want him out. I’d take it slower.

Moved in at 8 months but I was also 2 months pregnant lol I didn’t sign the lease though he got the apartment and I just moved in with him since I’m a sahm anyway. Fast forward almost 2 years and I’m signing our second lease with him. I think it’s smart to wait and see just one person be on the lease if possible for the time being. good luck :)

We waited two years before he moved in with me, then another two years before we bought a house together. We took it slow and made sure we were making the right decisions. It is a lot harder to walk away from a relationship that isn’t working if you share a home
