I’m sorry and I know you may want this to work but my advice is if y’all broke up or someone ended it then it’s because something wasn’t working. And the other person honestly sounds so uncertain and is just agreeing with you to avoid any altercations or negative emotions. It doesn’t sound like they’re completely in it to actually try. If y’all separated or broke up for whatever reason I’d say to leave it at that and move on. Because you can’t help someone who doesn’t wanna be helped and it’s just going to waste your time and energy for no reason
