Should I say something or stay quiet???

Hello everyone, so I'm in a confused spot right now. My friend came over to my house today too drop off some make up sample's, I thought she & the kids was just coming but her husband was driving. Now I didn't know he was in the car till I walked her back to the car & he was on the phone. He didn't speak he just rudely threw his hand up & kept giving her the side eye like he didn't wanna be there & when the kids asked to get out she asked if he was okay with that & he gave her a nasty look which I could tell it made her uncomfortable cause she quickly ended our conversation and got in the car. He's always been rude and controlling since I met him, we don't hangout anymore since she married him (it's been two years). I've never had this problem with her first husband he treated me as her best friend and wouldn't care if she would invite me to dinner or to the park with the kid's sometimes. She invited me to her son's (from the first marriage) birthday party next month & I'm a little iffy about going. I built a little bond with him since he was one year's old (he'll be turning 6 now) . Should I talk to her privately and explain my feelings? It doesn't just seem like he doesn't like anyone of color but doesn't want her around anybody. Me and her have been friends since the 3rd grade.
