What to add in Baby registry? FTM

Question

I know this sounds dumb but what should I add or what do you recommend for baby? I feel so lost lol 
I feel like adding a car seat and stroller is too much to ask for I know that sounds stupid to say.

I felt that way too! I didn’t add her stroller, car seat, or any big expensive items. Here’s what i’ve gotten (i’m also a FTM so I have no experience either lol but I winged it) 
Clothes (newborn-6m)

Burp clothes (or receiving blankets whichever) 
Detergent 
Socks 
Bottles 
Diaper bag 
Grooming Kit 
Pacifiers 
Baby bath

Add the car seat and stroller. People don’t have to buy it but lots of places will give completion discounts so it can save you money later having it on there. I payed close attention to price ranges to make sure there were options in a wide variety of budgets and lots and lots of things between $10-40 as that’s a pretty common sweet spot for gifts. Invites just started going out and interestingly the first two things purchased were the two most expensive things in my list! One of which I really didn’t expect anyone to get us (the other was the car seat and stroller which my MIL told me she was getting when she saw it in there).

Target has a really comprehensive checklist with their registry I found helpful. I didn’t add something from every category but it was nice having guidelines to make sure I had all my bases covered. I believe target and amazon allow you to choose an option where people can contribute money toward larger items. I still added larger items because you get 15% off registry items a couple months before your due date.
