anyone else’s baby moving nonstop?

I’m 34w3d anyone else’s baby moving so much? my first my daughter didn’t move this much (she was ivf) and now we are having a boy (natural conception) and I’m just wondering if anyone else’s baby is moving crazy and if it’s a gender thing.. i’m so exhausted and can’t complain because i know it’s a healthy sign.. but at 30 weeks he was measuring 4lbs so I’m thinking he’s supposed to run out of room by now or soon 🤔

I’m having a girl and I’m 37 +2. She moves around SO much, constantly kicking my ribs and she kicks of you touch my belly or talk to it lol she’s very responsive. My son wasn’t near as active but I was a lot bigger with my son and I never got outta bed with him. I guess it just depends on the baby and maybe how active you are too🤷‍♀️ My kids also have different fathers so that could be a reason lol idk

Neither one of my older kiddos moved much at all the whole pregnancy and they were chunky and healthy the whole time.....they are 8 & 10 now and this one is the same way. Everyone is a little bit different

i feel like there are so many variables…excess of amniotic fluid to name one, but it’s fun to gauge if the genders make a difference, seeing as how boys do grow faster in the womb than girls..

The whole "baby's move less the further along you get because they run out of room" is a dangerous myth. Their movements change from sharp kicks and punches to more rolls. Knowing your babies pattern of movement is essential. With my son I had an anterior placenta I believe so I barely felt him but he would do big movements a lot. With this pregnancy, which is a girl, I have a posterior placenta and she is a mover. I have also had to go to the hospital with both pregnancies for what I interpreted as decreased fetal movements.
