What did y’all eat the day before GTT?

Hi mamas, for those of you whose doctor told you to eat “simple meals” the day before you glucose test, what did you eat? Mine didn’t really go into detail of what I should it, she just gave a couple examples of what not to eat so I don’t really know

Mainly protein and low sugar veggies.

I’d just keep it a nice balanced meal. Small amount of carbs, veg, protein around 6/7pm
Maybe have some butter on toast/ porridge around 10.30 before bed as you usually have to fast till atleast 12 the next day. 
Morning in the morning, 
Then you can drink water right up to the second blood test. Drink lots to keep your veins good for the test

I ate a fried egg the morning of.

I had to fast 10ths before so I just had a high protein meal, low carb low sugar
