Maternity Leave

Hey ladies,

My SO and I have an in-home daycare. I am 8 months pregnant due on 10/31/2022. At the beginning of this month we started closing on Saturdays to have time to start preparing our home for our new addition and so I can take a break from chasing after children day in and out.

Once our baby gets here we plan on closing for the rest of that week but reopening M-F the following week. We are first time parents so I’m not too sure if this is enough time but we essentially work from home and don’t want to inconvenience our daycare parents more than we have to. What do you ladies think? What is a good “maternity leave” period in this case?
