Is 1.1 lb normal for 20 weeks?

Exactly 20 weeks anatomy scan baby is weighing 1.1 lbs. doc said on bigger side, but is this really something I need to be worried about?

you should probably just go by what your doctor says versus a bunch of random people on the Internet. If your doctor says it’s a little big but it’s a little big. Ask them if it’s something to be worried about. My son was almost 1 pound at his anatomy scan and it was no big deal.

Just remember scans are only an estimate x nothing to be concerned of though it generally just means baby is just above average in size so might be bigger than the “average” at birth if he/she continues on that growth pattern

At my 20 week scan my boy was 14.5oz I had another done at 21 weeks and he was 15oz which was 79th centile. Normal but on the bigger end

The average at 20 weeks is 10.58oz so your baby is above average (aka a little big). Doesn’t sound concerning.
Your doctor may want to monitor and/or do the glucose test early but that still isn’t concerning.
