Ditching the dummy

Morning from a sleepy mumma!

So, my son is 3 and we've got another baby on the way in January.

We decided it was time to ditch the dummy as he keeps waking in the night searching for it and I can't be dealing with 2 waking kids in the night come January! I would have waited until Xmas but baby may have to come before Christmas and everywhere says don't ditch it at times of transition.

I guess my question is, how long did it take your little one to transition to not having a pacifier anymore?? Give me hope, ladies 😂😂
