Announcement help..

I’m about 5 weeks along with baby #2. My husband and I have tried about 18mo for this baby with our own fertility issues and miscarriages.. we have a private scan and sneak peak gender test coming up in about 2.5 weeks and were planning on announcing October 1st(hubbys bday) since I’d be almost 8 weeks. My concern is my SIL. Her and her husband have been trying for almost 3 years and are in the process of going through fertility testing. They’re a bit older than us and I know my SIL is really upset that she isn’t a mom by now. I wanted to tell her privately before annoying times our families so she had time to process it. Should I tell her in person or by text so she can have the ability to process her emotions privately? Thanks for any input .. ♥️
