You call now and they schedule you when they see fit. Typically, the first appointment is between 8-12w. 
Most places don’t check levels unless you have a history of recurring miscarriages, are bleeding, or tracking ivf. 
I have never had my hcg levels checked and I’ve had a miscarriage.

Call to make an appointment asap. But unless you’re high risk or have a history of loss don’t be surprised if they don’t do bloodwork to track your HCG. That isn’t standard practice.

Unless you have a history of miscarriage it's not necessary to come in to check levels. However once you get a positive pregnancy test you should always go ahead and call to make your first prenatal appointment with your OBGYN. They usually will not set the appointment until around 8 weeks but you do need to go ahead and get the appointment set now.
