Experiences with an ECV?

Question

Have to make the decision tomorrow of a c section or ECV…anyone ever had one? Experience??

I had mine today at 38 weeks. They forgot to give me the pain medicine… it was painful and very uncomfortable but my baby flipped! And it only lasted 2 minutes. Now just have to wait until next week and make sure she stays head down

I had one at 37 weeks with my first and it was successful. The whole procedure was done in under a minute and I had nitrous oxide for pain relief which was plenty. Let me know if you have any questions, I know it's hard to find positive ECV stories

I had one when my daughter was 37 weeks and a tiny 6lbs. It was completely unbearable and was unsuccessful. I had 3 nurses attempting it for about 20 mins before i gave up

I had one that was unsuccessful. There was some discomfort, but it was manageable with deep breathing. It was worth it to me to try to avoid a c-section.
