I don’t trust my doctor- Can I deliver at a different hospital last minute?

I don’t trust my doctor at all, I’ve been crying and stressing about him even delivering my baby and being at the hospital he’s in connection with, I’m literally nervous and my gut is turning.. I just cried my ass off in the shower..
Is their a way I can deliver my baby at a different hospital vs the hospital he will be at?
I’m in the US.

How far along are you? You can switch OBs at any point you just need to find one that will take you. It likely won’t be difficult. Find a recommendation for an ob who delivers at another hospital. It’s worth whatever effort it takes. Your doctor makes all the difference. Having my specific doctor likely saved me from a hysterectomy after my first baby.

How far along are you? If you’re 39 weeks or something, then it’s probably not practical. But otherwise there’s no reason you can’t transfer your treatment to another provider.

When I had my first son, I got into a huge argument with my OB because she started treating me like an idiot & talking to me like I was stupid because I was 19. 
I ended up firing her & finding a new OB. 
When it was time for baby to come, I went to labor & delivery and SHE was the doctor working that night. I told her to get out as soon as she walked in & they sent in another doctor. 
Never saw my actual OB at all that night, just whatever doctor was there when it was time for delivery.

Honestly you may not even see him. I never saw my doctor when I delivered. Are you delivering naturally or is it a scheduled c-section?

Doesn't mean he'll be there when you go also depending on his practice he could be at other hospitals to I would just go and tell them you do not want that doctor there at any reason and I suggest getting duola to help speak up for you to
