I’ve been working really hard at work this year. This week I found out my mid year performance review marks were great and my teams leadership is really impressed with what I have done in my role and for our client. I received 18% salary increase. I was so stoked I immediately texted my bf and told him the good news. He responded “not bad babe, nice”… he hasn’t mentioned it or brought it up since and it’s been 4 days. Was kind of thinking he would at least say congrats? Idk.. maybe I’m overthinking it.. I was just expecting more excitement.
