Morning everyone. I just joined the group and have a newly diagnosed three year old. We had suspected that something wasn’t right since she was 9 months old. No one was listening. I finally went to my sister in laws dr (her son has apraxia) and the dr finally got the ball rolling this year. Ellie was diagnosed in July. I’m at a loss of what to do right now. We had her in early Headstart last year and she did amazing. Until the last two month and started acting out and becoming over emotional. She’s now in Headstart in another building and has been going to school since Aug 23. She’s gotten to the point where she’s freaking out and bawling to the point of throwing up because she doesn’t want to go to school. It’s been happening for two weeks at least twice a week. I don’t know if it’s the building or the staff. I’m not sure what to do because she needs the school for her social and emotional delay, but I’m afraid something is triggering her at school and I’m terrorizing her just making her go. Any thoughts?
