It's funny how it feels like everyone gets an epidural...

... But that's not really the case 😅

All my life I've believed that more than 90% gets an epidural. Or at least close to that. It's kinda the only thing I ever knew you could get until I got pregnant and started learning more.

Today my hospital shared that within the past half year, only 27% got an epidural. And 50% got laughing gas. That's pretty impressive numbers imo!

It does however not mention some of the other options offered. But it's wild to think that some years ago I thought everyone got an epidural and now I can see that it's actually not that many. I know someone who is now a chronic pain patient from it, so it makes me happy to see that numbers are so low 😊
