Hi! I am looking to see if anyone has ever experienced something similar to what I’m going through. I am TTC, track my cycles with OPK’s and usually have a 26-28 day cycle. I got my period early last week, about 9 days post ovulation. It appeared to be a full period, lasted the full 5 days, cramps, bloating, clotting, the full experience. So 3 days ago, on what I’d assumed would be cycle day 10, I started using OPK’s again, and to my surprise, it came back positive (I never ovulate this early in my cycle), so just for fun, I tested on an HCG strip, not expecting to see anything, but again, it turned up positive! I assumed it was an indent, and didn’t think much of it, but later that day I took 2 additional tests and again, positive. Yesterday I went and got a first response and that too came back very clearly positive (both lines the same color). Now, I am completely in disbelief because…well..I had my period! And if it was not a period, isn’t that a concerning amount of days to be bleeding that early in pregnancy? I don’t have an explanation for what is happening and don’t want to get my hopes up, so looking for some advice. Today is Sunday, so I won’t be able to schedule an appt with my dr until earliest tomorrow, and on Tuesday I’m going on a family trip, so I fear I may not be able to do the appropriate blood work needed to confirm if it’s a viable pregnancy. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
