Safe heartburn remedies or meds?

Hello ladies! I just started experiencing terrible heartburn but my appt.  isn't till Thursday. What are your recommendations in the meanwhile? I've looked things up online but I feel like one site says yes and another says no.

Milk for sure maybe a tall glass or two. I really like Alka Seltzer heartburn chews. Hope you feel better

Zantac. Mylanta. Tums. Pepcid ac. Glass of milk. Teaspoon of Apple cider be far mixed in a glass of water

My doc told me Prilosec everyday and tums when needed I've had killed heartburn and indigestion for weeks!
