Finding out gender?

Question

This is our 3rd and we already have one boy and a girl. My husband and I will be happy with whatever this baby is and we have tons of “boy” and “girl” things so we’re considering not finding out the gender. Also seems kind of fun/different for our last baby. Has anyone waited to find out? Is it worth it? I’m afraid the anticipation will make pregnancy feel even longer.

We waited with our third. We had 2 boys. We were certain the 3rd was also a boy. I have fast labors, 2nd was 1.5 hours. So I wanted some kind of excitement build up lol. Homebirth. No one was allowed to say anything if they saw before I got to look. I was utterly bewildered when I lifted up my third and saw It was a girl. It was totally worth It.

I waited w my 4th bc I had 2 boys n a girl already. It helped me focus in labor. I ve seen a fe borth videos where the mom held the baby for a while n snuggled hi./ her before looking at their baby's gender and that seems so great. I was filming for my husband who couldn't be there so I just looked immeduately( in part bc I had to turn around before she could be placed on my chest. It was great bc I had the feeling I kne the gender n I was right! I've guessed w 3 out of 5

We waited with both our boys and will wait again if we have a third! It’s not that hard, I actually think it’s takes the pressure off. Everyone told me they thought my first was a boy, but we got mixed opinions on our second. Turns out they are both boys lol. If our second would’ve been a girl I would’ve potentially found out for a third baby but I feel like I will have major gender disappointment if I’d find out it’s another boy. After birth, I find that I don’t care as much, just happy the baby is here. Best of luck!

I waited to find out with my first two, waiting was surprisingly easy. We want a big family anyway so it literally didn't matter to us what the gender was. I liked it because I felt at birth I got to truly meet my baby for the first time and didnt have any preconceived notions of who she might be. 
But both births were hectic/traumatic at the moment of delivery so I never got that special moment of finding out. So that's why I chose to find out at the anatomy scan this baby, so I could ensure it was a special moment for me and my husband. If that weren't my past experience though, I would have definitely waited again.
