Induction by pill?

I’m getting induced for my 2nd on October 11th because of pregnancy complications. I’m supposed to go in and they will insert pills against my cervix to hopefully soften it. My first pregnancy my water broke and at 35 weeks and she came 8 hours later so this is new for me.

Was anyone else induced like this? How did it go for you?
