Bleeding and swaddles

Hi first time mom I just gave birth 3 days ago and I’m still have bleeding no huge clots but like I have my period is this normal? Also first night home and my little one had such a hard time last night was so good in the hospital but it seems like every hour and half he would wake up frantic weather it was his pacifier falling out or if he was uncomfortable.! I really don’t think he likes he swaddle. Please need some recommendations for a better night sleep for him a great swaddle. We used the nanit one and he HATED it:
