Hello everyone.

I started a new job about a month ago. I work with some really lovely people and I feel so lucky. There’s a guy who works with me, he’s my age.. 22. He’s a quiet guy and pretty laid back. We don’t communicate a lot, I don’t know why and it’s bothering me. I want to get along with everyone. When we first met, we introduced ourselves.. etc. We’ll have very rare small talk. Like, I work at the till some days and there’s a way you can check how much money you’ve made in a day. He asked “how much have we made so far?”. Me and a fellow work colleague were talking about the gym, he was around and I made a comment about how good you feel after working out. He looked at me and was like “yeah it does”. He helps me out the odd time if I ask. He doesn’t make eye contact with me.. VERY rarely. He’ll look at me the very odd time. He’ll say hello and goodbye. He was talking to a group of us the last day, there was only 4 of us there including him. He doesn’t look at me when he’s talking but he’ll look at the others. I never really make conversation with him so I think it’s on my part too. I don’t really know what to make of this?
