Thank you baskets, are you making them?

Question

So I’m at the end of my third trimester. I’ve been seeing a lot of people making labor and delivery baskets for their nurses. Is this an actual thing? I had my first 3 years ago and never did this. But now I’m thinking I should make a small basket of snacks? Is it weird to do that? Lol  any mamas giving birth soon planning on making some sort of thank you basket? Any ideas are welcome too!

Definitely not making them. It's their job and I'm paying good money for them to do it. If you want to go for it, but don't feel pressured to.

Def not. Idky this is being made into a thing. They’re getting paid to do their job and I know I’ll be getting a nice hefty bill after. The only thing we got our nurse was coffee and a donut bc my husband went to go to Dunkn donuts and offered.

Nope. I honestly don't have the time or want to spend the unnecessary extra money on making them. It's a super nice gesture however, as others have said.... It's their job. It's not like you're going to get less care or anything if you don't make them hahah 
I would just stay focused on you, your family, and making sure your home is ready for baby. If you haven't done so, I 100000% recommend meal prepping and freezing premade meals. That's one thing we dropped the ball on when we had our first. Literally had nothing prepared and we were so exhausted. Luckily we had a lot of great friends who sent us DoorDash and GrubHub gift cards and my mom came and made dinner for us a couple of times until I was able to get a grocery list together for my husband.

I was thinking of doing this but I wouldn't even know how many to make honestly. I didn't do it with my first three. I was thinking maybe a coffee gift card perhaps as well.
