I always had a tough time with the digitals. I would sometimes get positives on the regular ones. I did ovulate, though, even when they said I didn’t, as I’ve been pregnant many times.

I took one the entire two weeks leading up to the time of when I actually ovulated(I get a sharp pain in my hip when I ovulate) and they were negative each day and the day of ovulation the cycle I got pregnant.

Opks don’t tell you if you are ovulating or not. They only tell you when you have a surge of LH. An LH surge can easily be missed if you didn’t test in the right window. 
You likely weren’t testing during your surge window.
