Update on subchorionic hematoma

At 6 weeks I was told that I had a very large subchorionic hematoma and to possible prepare for a miscarriage. (It was done very professionally and just informed me of every possible outcome). I was to go back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound. Today we saw baby and although there is still a hematoma (seen on top left, small black spot) but it is MUCH smaller. Dr said I’m measuring at 8 weeks and our new due date is May 23rd. I’m sure it’ll change again once baby gets bigger and they can get a better measurement. We did Sneakpeek with this baby at 6w3d and we’re having a girl! Hear rate was 147 today and we are feeling much better! There’s still some anxiety there, but trying to focus on the positive and live in the moment. I just wanted to share in case any other women were experiencing the same thing, you’re not alone! Baby girl is a fighter already , feeling very blessed 💖
