So I recently got a job as a promo girl for our areas hockey team. Basically we’re the girls that throw shirts out from the ice, go around and interact with the crowd, and just little things like that. Our first game is coming up next weekend. I also just found out that I’m pregnant last week after already committing to the job and attending orientation. My fiancé doesn’t think that it’s safe to do this job while pregnant because I’ll have to walk on ice and could fall. Honestly, very little of our time would be spent walking on the ice. Do you guys think it’s too dangerous? He has previously already had an issue with me having this job so I kind of feel like this is another way to try to keep me from having the job. (I discussed it with him before I went to the interview on a couple different occasions and he was okay with it then decided afterwards that he’s really not, but I had said once I commit to it, I don’t want to back out on it)
