Different kinds of contractions?

Nothing has annoyed me more than my friend constantly telling me i’m having Braxton Hicks when I say contractions even after confirmed by doctor. Long story short I had contractions when i was 35 weeks and had to get sent to the hospital where they confirmed contractions and dilation. Now that i’m further I have know it alls telling me those weren’t real contractions? lol Braxton hicks is tightening in my stomach where as contractions are more period pains that tend to be in your lower back and pelvic pain sort of, I know the difference specifically because I have both but one of my friends told me I haven’t felt the real thing. Is there even different types of contractions that I don’t know about? 😂 Maybe it’s still the hormones that have me annoyed so bad, I just don’t like when people feel they need to tell me different from what 2 separate doctors confirmed 🤨 & i feel like the main reason they do is because i’m a FTM.

EDIT: I know the difference between contractions & braxton hicks. Yes she means that I haven’t experienced actual contractions, meaning she think i’ve only experienced braxton hicks. She says if it doesn’t feel like I have to shit then i’m not having contractions.
