cyst causing period to be late?

has anybody here ever had an ovarian cyst cause their period to be late? is that normal?

i don't have diagnosed pcos, but i do know that i get large cysts on my right ovary from time to time. the pasts several months my cycle has been 26-27 days long. today is cycle day 30 and still no period - so 3-4 days late.

i've been lightly spotting on and off since last wednesday. negative pregnancy test yesterday afternoon so i'm pretty sure i'm not pregnant or it would've been positive by now. just ready for it to start at this point.
