normal or not normal?

So I work nights/evenings at the local airport.

Let me start by saying that I feel very safe here, even walking around at night, usually there's colleagues around, people starting their shifts at all hours. and CCTV for a lot more coverage than anyone would suspect (I know because I've got friends at security.)

My partner works here too and we've worked together for a long while but now our hours and shifts are different because we've got a child to care for. Currently he's also medically not allowed to work.

So he's never made a problem out of working later or finishing a job until he's been off work.

I feel like he's micromanaging my time, when I'm home or at work. Like checking that I'm not on the toilet too long or on my phone too long or checking that I'm not working too long. and complaining that I'mm too late etc...

So I'm now in the car wondering what just happened.. so I was finishing a task and overworked like 10 minutes.. So I was at work 10:13 pm.. while I finished at 10pm when he called me frantically... asking where I am and saying that my location is "offline" but it's currently set on *name*-hotel.. and I'm like.. I don't even know where that is. and he's like "ok so what are you doing now?" I'm like "Well I'm washing my cutlery in the kitchen but.. you know..*name colleague* is kinda looking at me strangely" (I just wanted to kinda prove to him that I actually was at work and include a witness or something) so he's like "oh sure, how about you tell everyone and now I'm the weird one" and threw down the phone.

So I finish packing up and get out of the building and call him back and I ask him like "wth do you think that was?" and he's completely like "ohh wel I was worried because sometimes when a person gets injured they bring them to the medpost of the airport and that is right next to the hotel so I was just worried about you"

and I'm here like.. if you were worried about my safety and my health you would have mentioned the medpost iso the hotel.. but I didn't say that... I'm just kinda confused...

I never cheated on him btw.. in case anyone is wondering. all I do that might make me suspicious is that I'm on this app and I take my sweet time driving home because I'm on a learner's permit. (I am scared of other vehicles so driving at night is actually less stressfull to me 😅)
