Call your dentist it’s probably normal sense it’s essentially a new injury. Use mouth wash.

The funny taste will be the ingredients in the haemostatic sponge they put in to help stop the bleeding and form the clot. If you had it done yesterday use warm salty water to use as a mouth rinse. Will help with the healing x

It’s normal keep it clean use a tea spoon of salt and cup of warm water . Rinse gently Do not brush it

If the area goes green in colour and is painful it will be a dry socket and you may need antibiotics x

To stop The bleeding. It’s been just over 24hrs since and i have this horrible taste in my mouth I can’t get rid of. It’s also gotten these white areas around the black sponge which I’m not sure if that’s normal or if need to try and clean it off? I’m scared to go near it with a toothbrush  or anything in case it bleeds again.  This picture is is after the stitch so you can see no white.

This is it now, what can I do to get rid of this horrible taste in my mouth? (Also when I spit out my saliva it is yellow in colour, not sure if relevant)
