ANY SINGLE MOMS? Help!

Question

So I’m 28 years old I have a 2 year old daughter. I’m still living at my parents house. But, Lately I’ve been really thinking about moving out. Renting an apartment with just my daughter and I. Is there any advice you guys can give me? 
My income is 2,800 a month.
I give my mom and sister $100 each a week for babysitting. 
I don’t have a car note. 
Do you guys think I could afford to move out? Is there anyone out there doing currently doing this? 
I’m literally scared. But I really want to do this.

Considering what rent is today; I can’t see you being able to make rent- or be approved to rent, plus utilities, food, etc. I’d focus on saving money and increasing your income.

if rent isn’t that much in your area (where i live a studio apartment is around $600 with utilities included) if it’s not a lot, i think you could definitely do it. try to budget out how much you’d spend on groceries/necessities, car payments/gas, savings (make sure you can put at least some money into savings incase something happens), child care, ext. and see from there if it all works out.
