Has your kid received their flu shot yet?

Stupid to risk my kids being seriously ill for no reason. The year I was pregnant with my third, my first & second got the flu before they could get the flu shot (they were 3 y/o & 17 m/o). 3 y/o handled it fine but it was fucking rough on the 17 m/o. 104 fever, the only time in his entire life he didn't have an appetite, wanted to he held and snuggled when he normally preferred not to be touched (he's autistic.)
Why would I not take every precaution to make sure it doesn't happen again? He's now 4 and has had his this year. 
My 5 y/o & 2 y/o haven't yet because their doctor hasn't let them. The 5 y/o just started school and my kids have gone from never being sick to being constantly sick since school started & their pediatrician doesn't give vaccines to children when they are sick. So I have to wait until they're feeling better and my 5 y/o is off antibiotics for his ear infection.

None of my kids have ever had one neither have I and we have never had a problem. Not once. So it’s a no from me. We just all came through flu season

Of course. She was completely fine when she got it; not even the slightest fever reaction.
The flu season is erratic and can arrive early with COVID in the mix. Even if it only takes the effects off, why would I risk my baby’s health if I can offer her some protections. Of course they don’t know which strain will be dominant and even if the a vaccine targets the right variant, it only lessens the severity of the flu if they do catch it, but the flu can be deadly to little ones, so reducing her chances of a horrific outcome is 100% worth the two seconds of discomfort she feels from the shot itself.

They're too young, but my children will never get the flu shot. I haven't had one since my early teens. I got the flu within a week of thr flu shot every time I got it. I haven't had the flu since I stopped getting the shot every year.

I don’t think they really work so I’m not gonna bother with it. The flu shot isn’t like other vaccines, They make it out of the few most popular flu strands from the year before and sometimes it completely fails and sometimes it works so it’s basically a crap shoot.
