My periods are normally heavy and last 5 days

Last month my period was shorter only 3 days

This month a week before my period was due I had very light bleeding it was mor spotting for 1 day

Do I count that as a period?

Also it’s been 5 days since that spotting and I had some weird pain in my right side today 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m not using any protection

Should I be concerned? Or test?
