I went to ER because I kept having hip pain. I was 5 weeks and 5 days so they ruled out eptopic which I thought ok great. They did a scan and beta they said my beta was 15,264 and I’m measuring exactly the same based of my period 5 weeks 5 days and that it looks all normal, to just have beta retested in two days because a fetal pole wasn’t present but it’s normal. Today (7weeks) I finally got access to my portal where I saw ultrasound report and it says I’m measuring 5 weeks 6 days that day, and as well as a subchronic hematoma measuring 1.5cm and a follicle on my left ovary, none of this was stated to me. I think it was careless even if you think it’s fine and not something of concern I believe as a doctor you should make your patients aware of all the findings. My doctor isn’t connected to that hospital so I know she’s not informed I will be calling tomorrow and hopefully she can order scans and blood as she still has yet to see me for my initial appointment. Some may say why not go to a hospital connected but I was in pain and wanted to be seen quickly so I went there rather then drive 20min to the one connected, never did I think a doctor would keep information from me .
