Not eating anything ?

HELLO MY FIANCÉ IS 4 weeks and 6 days .. pregnant and she is not eating enough. Her appetite seems to be gone. And I am here to tell you this woman can EAT! 🤣😂 so I’m wondering why she seems to be full and not eating I can get her to eat at least  once a day and she usually eats all day… is this a common symptom of pregnancy? If anything I thought she’d be eating more.

This is normal. 
Food aversion, nausea, extreme bloating all contribute to not enjoying food as much as before. 
I LOVE food and I can eat. Last pregnancy, I couldn’t and didn’t enjoy food for the entire pregnancy. I ate like a pig the night after I delivered my baby! And then the breastfeeding hunger began! 😂 
Don’t force her to eat. Remind her to nibble on small snacks throughout the day.

This is normal. I even lost 20 lbs in the first few weeks with each of my kids, but that was due to HG. She probably has a ton of morning sickness and food aversions which is completely normal. If she feels that she's lacking in her diet then Boost nurtition drinks are a good idea. I couldn't eat more than a single piece of bread most days, but I could get down 2 Boost drinks a day. I threw up half of each, but it was better than nothing. She needs to take a good prenatal with folic acid. Water and vitamin water are GREAT for her, especially vitamin water. With my youngest I prefered cold fluids over food. If she's really into fluids right now then smoothies might be a great idea. You can add fruit, avacado, kale, spinach, milk or milk substitue, yogurt, some chia seed powder, nutritional yeast powder, or flax seed powder to the blender. Even a simple smoothie with banana, strawberries, milk, a little avacado, kale, and flax seed powder will hit a lot of what she needs nutrition wise. It will have natural sugars, antioxidants, vitamins, veggies, protien, and healthy fat. They can also be frozen into popsicles.

Food aversions are very normal during pregnancy. She may not like the same things she use to at this point in time. Try switching up meals to something new. Offer fresh fruit and veg as well as lean proteins with herbs instead of heavy spices for flavor. 
Is she also struggling with nausea/vomiting? That also makes you less likely to want to eat certain things or too much in fear of causing more nausea/vomiting. It’s not fun lol.

i’m about 6 weeks & have been the same way. probably have lost about 5 pounds in the last week. my stomach growls but i have little to no appetite, i have to force myself to eat. i think it’s normal, every women’s body reacts differently to the hormones being produced :)
try getting her to eat small snacks every 2-3 hours, protein also helps in keeping you full. & drink a lot of water/take prenatals!
if it gets too bad talk to the doctor about it.

Many women feel too sick or nauseous to eat. In the second or third trimester they may eat more, but sometimes they don’t feel like it.

Could be many factors, but on a serious note make sure she’s not developing a eating disorder where she starved her self because she the pregnancy weight gain. It’s common in pregnant women.

Yes, normal. Pregnant women frequently have food aversions too. So things she loved before, she may absolutely hate now. As long as she’s eating something, is able to take prenatals, and isn’t dehydrated, she should be fine. Her appetite should increase closer to the second trimester.
