Have a question

So this might be long,but I want to put this into detail to do this right. So my exs ex wife and I are friends. He doesn't like that we are friends and neither does his mom, but they have a kid together, their getting a divorce and going through a custody battle. She has court on Wed. And I'm torn. She has asked if I'll go in case she needs some back up. Because I know what she went through being married to him because I went through the same shit except I didn't do drugs with him. I feel he's going to make her be the bad person and his mom will back him up if necessary and she don't have no one because her family lives far. Now my battle was done 6 years ago with his mom.(he was in jail and didn't make it) Me and his mom have custody over our older kids. He has custody over their youngest. My kids sister. Should I go with her and support her or should I not?
