24 weeks and 1 day went In for 3rd anatomy scan baby is weighing at 1lB and 12 oz dr came In and said everything looks great we finally got the pictures we need to finish the scan . She said he is in the 90th percentile for his size and that could be cause for gestational diabetes or I just have a big baby. Has anyone else just had a big baby and not gestational diabetes? Didn’t have it with my first baby

Forgot to mention I’m also overweight not sure if that plays a part but I was over weight with my first as well and didn’t have GD . Does weight play apart ?
