Subchorionic 2nd trimester

Kristina

Well I am extremely frustrated and unsure what to do anymore. This post may be more of a way to tell my story but if anyone has experienced this, this late in pregnancy and has any advice or an outcome (good or bad), please share. It would mean so much.

I was diagnosed with a subchorionic around 5 weeks pregnant. I was having spotting and cramping so they did an us early. During 12 weeks, I had a massive bleed and they saw it was larger.

I went again for more major bleeding at 14 weeks. It appeared to be smaller.

15 weeks, another big bleed and it grew again.

I had my second "normal" visit at 16 weeks where they just checked heartbeat vs an us.

Now I am 18 weeks and had a lot more blood two nights ago. Went to Dr yesterday. Said because of size of baby and having to use vaginal and abdominal us, they couldn't pin point where the blood was coming from or if the subchorionic was gone or still sticking around.

It has been noted since I think 12 weeks, that the placenta is close to my cervix but not covering it. They have been, and still are, saying it should move away as my uterus grows. They are concerned but no diagnosis for it yet.

Thing is, I'm bleeding heavily again this morning, even though I was just checked yesterday. I don't even know what to do at this point.

They put me on pelvic rest months ago. I have modified restrictions basically saying no heavy lifting or long periods of standing/walking.

I am following those orders as best I can. I just started a new job (I have to work) as a waitress. That is primarily standing and walking as well as carrying heavy trays of food. It has only been two real days of doing that and I don't think (could very well be wrong) the job has anything to do with bleeding as I didn't even work yesterday but am having one of my worst bleeding episodes this morning.

I am at a loss as to what to do. They told me the subchorionic should go away on its own by 14-16 weeks and I will either pass the blood or it will be reabsorbed. I am almost 19 weeks now and still bleeding.

I can't go a single day without wearing a pad. I go into the office once a week with an "emergency" appointment (office is an hour away). I have missed so much work at my other job and now this one missed one day. I am constantly worrying.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone been through this? I search subchorionic and it's only early pregnancy posts that I find.

Thank you for taking the time to read. Again, I'm not sure if anyone can offer advice but I want anyone else going through this to know, you are not alone! I am here.
