Sambucol (Elderberry) Safe?

Question

I am finding mixed information about the safety & use of Sambucol or elderberry for health support while fighting a cold/virus while pregnant. 
Some information says it’s safe to use, while others say there isn’t enough data to prove safe for use during pregnancy. 
I’m asking the community if you’ve had experience in using Sambucol/elderberry while pregnant?
I’m currently sick with a low fever and body aches and need some relief.

Thanks ladies for your advice! I’m going to cave and take a Tylenol even though I know there is ongoing litigation about it and the link to children born & having Autism.. I’m just trying to reduce my risks.

I’ve been told by my OB that there aren’t enough studies to prove whether it’s safe or not, so he advised against taking it.

I am getting into herbal remedies, and I would say you should skip it. It helps to boost the immune system which you don't want when you're pregnant
