How to remove purple hairdye?

Question

Sooo I recently got purple highlights in my hair but really hate it…..
does anyone have any advice on how to quickly fade it? The rest of my hair is brown, I just need the purple gone.
I had it done about 2 weeks ago and have washed it a lot under hot water using regular shampoo and conditioner. But it’s still pretty ￼ prominent. 
Any ideas on how to help get rid of some of the purple ?

Get a colour stripper. Purple will work robably strip a decent blonde underneath…. Even if it doesn’t completely strip out and stays a little bit you can bleach them and they will go blonde over the remaining purple

When I would dye my hair all colors of the rainbow and wanted to change it, I would mix vitamin c powder, dandruff shampoo, baking soda, and dawn. Scrub the absolute hell out of it and let it sit for 10-20 minutes, then scrub the hell out of it again as I rinse it out. Then use a deep conditioner on it because all of those will dry your hair out. You’ll probably have to do this at least 3 times before its faded a good bit. I would also use coloroops which doesn’t hurt your natural hair color but will take out the highlights. I did bleach baths too but that’s best for the entire head if you dyed it all
